Charlize Theron has signed on to join the cast of the next Fast and Furious movie. I've heard rumors that she's playing the villain. She certainly got some experience behind the wheel in the last Mad Max movie. She now seems to be firmly ensconced in the group of 40+ actresses who are finding it much easier to get lucrative paydays by playing villains in high budget films, including Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, Cate Blanchett, and Patricia Clarkson.
The Furious franchise sadly needs an octane boost due to the death of Paul Walker, but most of the rest of the cast, including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and the last film's villain, Jason Statham, will return.
