Obviously, I can't go any farther in this game without mentioning 20. FAME. Two very different and very famous songs called "Fame". One or both may be used here.

David Bowie has about 50 years' worth of songs to choose from, but this may be the intended match:

Irene Cara's discography, on the other hand, is pretty concise. I think she had only four Top 40 hits that weren't Oscar-winning movie themes. Be on the lookout for that later.
