It is an awesome facility.

And I gather that the Boston's Childrens Hospital COO and her are well aquainted. She told my neice who just graduated from Salve Regina with a nursing degree that she could get her resume into the Boston area if she wanted some help.

Children's Hospital names its first female CEO
This has been a big week for Bell, who lives in Bryn Mawr.

Her birthday was Monday; she was named CEO Thursday; and on Friday she will be the commencement speaker at Villanova and collect an honorary doctorate.
Congratulations and happy birthday to Dr. Bell.

Since the University of Pennsylvania has the country's oldest medical school it follows that they'd have the first children's hospital as well.

Not logically it doesn't. Would you expect them to have the first school for every other specialty, as well?

Yes, they were way ahead of every other medical school in the country at the time.
