I'm not from Colorado, but I can attest that all of this is true -- except the part about the bear on the porch. Anybody who is not greatly annoyed and/or a bit disconcerted at the near presence of a bear probably moved there from California.
And when did they change the name of Elitches? That's just not right.
Now, speaking of Colorado, what are the dates of that big convention I've heard tell about? I need to visit my mother, but I'd rather not be there when crowds are big, rental cars are scarce, and Teddy Kennedy is tooling down I-70.

I agree about the bear, I would not be happy about that. Especially since Casey would raise the roof trying to get to it to herd it.silvercamaro wrote:I'm not from Colorado, but I can attest that all of this is true -- except the part about the bear on the porch. It's been Six Flags Elitch Gardens for several years. I don't know what's going to happen this year, Six Flags supposedly is selling it.
As for the convention, the dates are Aug. 25-28, and I recommend you stay outta town Aug. 22-29. (((((((shudder))))))))
Also, rumor is that hotels near The Can are charging $1,000 a night. Hopefully they're charging Ted Kennedy $2,000 a night.

I would be happy to have a bear on the porch. It might scare away the Door to Door salesmen or the people who put 10 flyers on my porch every week.silvercamaro wrote:I'm not from Colorado, but I can attest that all of this is true -- except the part about the bear on the porch. Isn't it just like that Sprots to run away while we are typing our fingers to the bone? We won't let her be the group facilitator next time!PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:It's not shameless if people answer you.SportsFan68 wrote:And yes, I am shamelessly padding my post count.

I have done the rankings long enough to know that no lead is safe. Not even Sprots'....
I should try to figure out when PSM might be on track to pass her up.....
