National Signing Day

#1 Post by lilclyde54 » Fri Feb 05, 2016 1:50 pm

Well, National Signing Day has come and gone with lots of happy or sad fans. The people at the high school that I do the football public address at are pretty happy. (Meridian Wildcats) We had a total of nine seniors sign letter of intents on Wednesday.

Alabama....Raekwon Davis

Florida.....Quincy Lenton

Rutgers....Julious Turner

Vanderbilt...Zaire Jones

The rest went the juco route

East Mississippi Community College EMCC was the NJCAA National Champion in 2013 and 2014. They were in great shape for a three-peat in 2015 (10-1 and ranked 2nd in the NJCAA poll) when they got into a bench clearing brawl with another team in their last regular season game and the entire team was declared ineligible for the MS juco playoffs. With no MS juco championship, they were ineligible for the NJCAA playoffs.

Myles Bradley
Daniel Crowell...Daniel was commited to Ole Miss for a year and then decommited in October. By the time he wanted back in with us, we already had the three WR slots filled with four star players and he got squeezed by the numbers and wound up at EMCC

Jones County Junior College..There is a movie coming out called "The Free State of Jones" and JCJC is located there.

Quez Ball
Jermaine Scott
Travis Reed

Even with all that talent, we(MHS)got defeated in the MS 6A State Semi-finals. I good year but definitely not a great year.
I felt the change

Time meant nothing and never would again

Those of us who are Bama fans are appreciative of Mr. Davis. The dude's huge!
