BUCKET WEEK final day.

Lillian Africano
Deal, NJ

At the age of 80 Lillian is still marking things off her bucket list. She wants to use the money she wins to throw a big party to prove she's smart. Forty years ago she was on a game show and blurted out an answer that was wrong. The host said that no one had been kicked off a show in such a short amount of time. She won rice that only the dog would eat and stale candy. Her +1 is her son.

I wonder if her previous game show experience made her a little gun shy.

I don't understand why this would be the case. Most of the spam I get starts with "hello" because it's an attempt to get money.

1K: Never before heard of them, but only 1 comes in beans.

2K: Never heard of this either, but "Derby" in one choice points heavily to one answer.

7K: Well, Germany is Deutschland (probably actually the German Republic of whatever), Italy is Italia I think, Spain is Espania? Leaves Brazil, but frankly I was thinking Brazila (simply changing Z to S didn't occur to me) but go with it anyway.

1OK: All except "hello" make sense to me. +1. If they can' t convince me, 50/50. If it left B & C I might have gone down w/ B.

That, and the fact that 3 events is much more likely to be a "Triple" than a World Series (?), Super Bowl (1) or Grand Slam (4).

I was wrong in spelling for "Spain" in Spanish; its "Espana" with the wiggly mark over the "n".

Anyone have any idea what game show she was on forty years ago? Joker's Wild maybe?

Since she mentioned rice, and Rice-a-roni used to be a consolation prize on J! I thought that might be it. But giving a wrong answer and getting ejected from the show excludes that possibility.
