#1 Post by BBTranscriptTeam » Fri Dec 18, 2015 1:48 am

Rylan Collins
26-year-old Lieutentant in the U.S. Navy

Rylan sings a mean Journey, but we are not treated to a sample.

Rylan picks up with his $10,000 question and three of his four lifelines.

$10,000:
A staggering statistic Bill Gates notes on his website, what country has used more cement
in the 3 years from 2011 to 2013 than the U.S. used in the entire 20th century?
A: China
B: Brazil
C: United Arab Emirates
D: Russia
ATA
A: 52%
B: 8%
C: 36%
D: 4%
Spoiler
A: China
$20,000:
Which movie is set around the time of Operation Desert Storm, and NOT
Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Gothic Serpent?
A: American Sniper
B: Zero Dark Thirty
C: Three Kings
D: Black Hawk Down
Spoiler
Rylan was a part of OEF. He knows that A and B are recent. He believes that a lot of today's tactics are in response to mistakes made in Black Hawk Down, so he'll go with it.
Spoiler
Rylan goes with D: Black Hawk Down.

C: Three Kings

Lieutenant Collins leaves with $5,000.

Black Hawk Down was about the debacle in Somalia, which was part of Operation Gothic Serpent.

10K: Prolly China, but Emirates have been building those towers of Babel. Waste 50/50 on this

20K: Black Hawk was Somalia, in Clinton era. Think Three Kings, but use "get rid of Q" if I had it. They only give this to vets, though. If I was playing I'd call my +1 down at this point. Wish I still had 50/50.

I'm sorry Rylan missed his $20K question; that's really got to hurt for him.

I really can't understand why the United Arab Emirates because such an effective distractor in this ATA. Sure, the Arabs have oil money, but do they have any idea how small the UAE is? That construction would make one heck of a big block of concrete!
