Second Chance Week

#1 Post by ElendilPickle » Sun Nov 08, 2015 10:52 pm

Hey, y'all,

Just thought I'd mention that my shows will be on Tuesday and Wednesday. Set your DVRs!

ETA the video contains a bit of a spoiler, but it doesn't indicate how much money I left with. Could be more, could be less...

How did you get lucky enough to get a second chance? Was it easier or harder the second time around?

Retro good luck!

Good luck! I hope you had fun at the taping and enjoy a nice viewing party.

Was there any official explanation of why you and the others were selected for another chance, either on the air or during your briefings and conversations with the staff? If not, could you infer or detect any common traits or factors among those who were brought back, that might explain why they did this and what their criteria seemed to be?

One of the producers said she had our pictures on her office wall all season, and that they spent a good amount of time figuring out how they could bring us back. Basically, they thought we were memorable enough to get another shot at winning. The producer who called me said they thought the audience steered me wrong, so that was a factor in my invitation.

I'm not sure why most of the other contestants were brought back; at least half of them made it into the second round and left with $25,000, and I was surprised to see them return.

Geofil, I was much more nervous this time. I really didn't want to mess up and leave with nothing!

Breqak a retroactive leg!
