Anyone watching Heroes Reborn?

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Fri Oct 30, 2015 3:04 am

They just pulled together the various story lines in a manner that I, for one, found quite satisfying. I hope they've thought through the rest of the season as well. --Bob

I'm watching, but it's frustrating that I can't remember what happened during the last season of Heroes. What ever happened to new Spock, who was collecting all the other Evo powers?

And how did the last season relate to spoilers from yesterday's episode?

Spoiler
The cheerleader was pregnant? When did that happen? Was it another incident of time travel?

And after Noah made a big deal with the nurse about checking the back of her head for the vulnerable spot that neutralized her powers, he never even lifts the sheet to verify that that's her body under it? Are you kidding me!?!?!?

The last point is probably answered by the actress's other commitments. I wonder how many of the other questions are answered in the prequel series. --Bob

By the Finale of the original series Sylar (Zachary Quinto, aka "New Spock") becomes a hero of sorts. I suppose they have just left it at that since he is too big a star now to be on the show!

The whole viewing the body of the cheerleader was rather annoying. I think in one early cut to the morgue scene (Seems like they have shown it 10 times!) he does lift the sheet a bit.

The start of this reboot is several years after the finale of the original when the cheerleader jumped off the Ferris wheel (something they refer to several times) so apparently she had time to get knocked up in the interim. The twins she has are "Petrelli's" according to the grandmother, Angela Petrelli as Claire's real father was Nathan Petrelli. Noah was her adoptive father.

Or something like that...

I recently binge watched the first 10 episodes and it was kind of "meh" to me. I will probably watch the final 3 but have no interest in further seasons should it have any (which seems unlikely to me!).
