I thought that they would do a 1Q contestant, given that they showed the QotD before John came on stage.

I don't think countries like Mexico look favorably on amateur archaeologists who
just start digging somewhere.
Not that trivialities like that ever stopped Indiana Jones...

Today's show proved some of what's been wrong with this show--casting over quality contestants.
This man who travels to historical sites has on his bucket list that he wishes to travel to historical sites.
Later this week we get to see the most original of things...the desire for a mancave. Not like there isn't already a show about that.

When I heard they were doing Bucket List Week, I thought they were going to go the Deal or No Deal route and actually provide the bucket list items.
"Your bucket list item is to go to every Olympics for the rest of your life. If you answer the Bucket List Question, we'll give you tickets to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Let's see where your Bucket List Question is....$20,000. Not bad."
