$3k: I didn't know about Mark Ruffalo so ATA already.

$7k: This I did know, as another forum I post on uses the term Deus Ex Machina to refer to big wins on a game show that are manufactured.

Sadly another player didn't think the question through properly and left with lifelines still on the table as a result. :(

I watched this and was rolling right along until this:

3K I get only by default as am pretty sure Ruffalo didn't play the other roles.

7K: Sad that student didn't know the phrases & also didn't know "deus" means "god".

Also, this phrase is also related to my internet name, as there's also "spiritus ex machina", "ghost in the machine",
