"Despite her struggles with drugs, Carne continued working throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s, appearing on shows like “Love, American Style,” “Get Christie Love!” and “On the Line.” Her last credited role came in the 1993 film “What About Me.”"

I remember the Get Christy Love! episode well. Teresa Graves, the star of the series, was herself a Laugh-In alum, and that episode had a number of the Laugh-In folks in it. IIRC, Arte Johnson was the villain-of-the-week in it.

She was wonderful. I loved her on Laugh In, so funny and talented. I also remember an episode on the Tonight Show where ex-husband Burt Reynolds was guest hosting, and they talked a bit about how they got together.

So sorry to see her go. I didn't know about the drugs.
