Character actor best known for playing Moe Green (the casino owner who tutored Fredo and got shot in the eye for his trouble) in The Godfather. He won an Emmy for the TV Series The Famous Teddy Z in which he played a Hollywood agent. He usually played more conniving types rather than out-and-out tough guys.
Age 79.
