15. If you do want me, gimme little sweet talk,
If you don't want me, don't lead me on girl,
But if you need me, show me that you love me
And when I'm feeling down
Wearing a frown
You be there when I look around.

GIMME ME A LITTLE SIGN - BRENTON WOOD

18. You're out of your room and down on the street
Movin' through the crowd and the midnight heat
The traffic crawls, the sirens scream
You look at the faces, it's just like a dream.

YOU BELONG TO THE CITY - GLENN FREY

Sorry to get in on this late. Here's what I've got, that other people haven't already identified.

70. In the empire of the senses
You're the queen of all you survey.
All the cities all the nations
Everything that falls your way.
LOVE IS THE SEVENTH WAVE - STING

89. Oh, I want to let go
You'll go on hurtin' me.
You'd be better off alone
If I'm not who you thought I'd be.
OH SHERRY - STEVE PERRY

Also worth noting, for possible use later.

James Taylor is here, and he plays the banjo on another song (Old Man).
Sting is here, and he sings on another song (Money for Nothing).

58. There's aching and pain in my heart
For the day was the one that I hated to face.
Somebody new came up to win her
And I came out in second place.

THE RACE IS ON, Grateful Dead, preceded by some country singer(s)

Linda Ronstadt is also here, and she and James Taylor both sang on Old Man.
If this was the Tangredi I would expect You're So Vain and a Mick Jagger song.

I don't know who sings it either. Even I think this song stinks. Probably the least exceptional part of the movie.

I don't know who sings it, either... but I know who wrote it. Ernest Gold... as in father of Andrew, Mr. Lonely Boy himself. Don't know if that's just a coincidence for this game or if it's actually relevant.

I meant to add that many of the song titles seem to be the same as songs by other artists.

Well, this is embarrassing. I thought these lyrics didn't sound familiar. Turns out, there's more than one song with this title -- and I picked up lyrics for the wrong one.

Try these instead:

Hugging like a monkey see, monkey do right beside a riverboat gambler.
Erotic images float through my head; I wanna be your midnight rambler.
Quickly, but quickly the blood races through my veins.
Quickly, loudly I wanna hear those sugar bells ring.

MEA CULPA! (But now you know something....)

You now have enough correct information to complete 22 of the 31 foursomes. Each of the remaining nine is only missing one element.

Could one of the unguessed songs have "music" in the title?

? + 33. Old MAN = 19. ROBERT Palmer + 31. Billy PRESTON

I'm like MrK. I never figure out the tangredi or make the matches when someone else does. I'm excited.

I would say it's very likely, but it will be something that has "THE MUSIC" like Can't stop the Music or Dance to the Music, because I think the full title is THE MUSIC MAN, and Frank is a stickler for such things. I haven't googled the remaining lyrics, but I'll bet you're right.

The last name of one artist is incorrect. There is also a case where the artist given sang it in a movie, but someone else had the chart hit with it. You'll need the latter.

I had intended George Jones to be used as part of Tom Jones, rather than Jesus Jones (which is a group), but it doesn't make any different at all in the outcome.

You might want to double check the asterisks.
