The FBI is investigating the St. Louis Cardinals

True story. The Cardinals are under investigation for hacking into proprietary computer systems of the Houston Astros. --Bob

Somehow this is to me way more bad than Bill Belichick (I know, diff sport) hiring a lipreader to report stuff from the other team's huddle, or whatever it was he once got officially slapped for doing.

Belichick and Tony La Russa are friends.

If you can learn things like they are putting a deal together for Giancarlo Stanton, that's rather important, dontcha think?

And here is what they think the motive is anyway:
According to the Times, authorities believe the hacking was performed by front-office employees hoping to undermine the work of Houston General Manager Jeff Luhnow, an innovative former Cardinals executive who left in late 2011 to join the Astros.

I figured Lunhow's connection to the Cardinals was involved somehow.

I actually find this to be highly amusing in more ways than one... not just because of my general dislike for the home team, but for the very fact that the teams involved rarely even play each other anymore.
