One of the least-competent officials in college football is retiring -- at least retiring from the SEC. One report says he's just moving to the ACC.

For those not familiar with him, he's the college equivalent of the NFL's Jeff Triplette. Except he hasn't blinded anyone (yet).
There isn't a season that I recall that he hasn't been involved in some controversy which may have impacted a game. And there's a reason why, when bowl season came around, he ended up in one of the lowest-level bowls that used SEC crews (as seen in this video).

BTW -- as a former official (in another sport), I usually am loathe to berate one. But this guy needed to go a long time ago.
