Jean Nidetch dead at 91

Possibly the first plus-sized woman to call herself a BBW, the founder of Weight Watchers passed away today at age 91.

BBW=Big Beautiful Woman, which some large women on the internet(and maybe off) call themselves nowadays.

She was a really amazing woman and helped millions of people. The organization has since become more profit oriented than it ever was in her day, but it also has advanced in research and technology far beyond anything she ever envisioned. Rest in peace, Jean.

Hah! No thank you. It's easy to lose weight in the fairly private environment of one meeting a week attended by like-minded people and then keeping it to yourself.
