We haven't used Ron Moody yet, and he could fit in two triplets.

He was in The Mouse on the Moon to go with Sellers and Meredith.

He was also in Flight of the Doves (slight variant) to go with Carter and Joseph Bottoms (The Dove).

So, as far as I can tell, we need one animal.

Early in his career Joel McCrea wad in Bird of Paradise.

Bird could get us Bird on a Wire for Mel Gibson and The Blue Bird for La Liz.

DUH - ON THE OTHER HAND ...

BUFFALO: 20. CHARLES BRONSON (White) + 74. JOAQUIN PHOENIX (Soldiers) + 39. JOEL MCCREA (Bill)

THAT frees up Jean Pierre Cassel to go into bear for The Bear and the Doll with Bardot.

Bear: 32. WALTER MATTHAU (Bad News) + 13. DARYL HANNAH (Clan of the Cave) + 3. JEAN-PIERRE CASSEL
There again we have an alternate that works as well as what I had in mind. I had Cassel here for 'The Diving Bell and the Butterfly,' not thinking of Burgess Meredith for his Butterfly roll. The numbers work out either way.

Game #151: Hollywood Menage a Trois - SUNDAY NIGHT

GAME 151 - Menage a Trois

As far as I can tell, we have all 32 matches, as either partials or completed matches

Match them into 32 groups of three according to a Tangredi, or principle you must discover for yourself. Twelve actors will be used twice and two will be used three times.

Unanswered question:

21. This British actor – who died this past January at the age of 82 – is one of a handful of people to have appeared in both the Dr. Who and Star Trek franchises.

21. is BARRIE INGHAM, whose two best-known movies are The Great Mouse Detective and The Day of the Jackal. Presumably, that frees up one of the mice, since I don't think we'll be putting together a whole new Jackal trio at this point.

ALIDA VALLI was in a movie called The Spider's Stratagem.

EMILE HIRSCH was in Alpha Dog and Lords of Dogtown.

TOM CONWAY was in the original Cat People.

HELENA BONHAM-CARTER did voice work for the Wallace and Gromit movie Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

RICHARD BURTON did a movie called The Desert Rats.

And I believe that finishes you off! Great work, all, and sorry for the number of alternates. I especially should have looked more closely at Burgess Meredith's resume.

Thanks for the game, Frank! As always, I'll look forward to the next one. --Bob
