Just wrote my check to Uncle Sam

Putting it in the mail tomorrow. I only wish there was a slower way to deliver it. Probably will clear Friday. :(

Not the biggest I've had to write, but maybe third or forth place. Third I think.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

And on behalf of your next President, Hillary Clinton, I'd like to thank you and let you know that she's going to put this money to good use.

You could vacation in Guam and mail it from there.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I sent mine in yesterday but upon closer inspection I think I might wind up doing an amended return. My accountant seems to have made a couple of mistakes with regards to my deductions. I didn't want to bug him in the last couple of days of tax season but I will definitely review it with him once he has a chance to catch his breath.
I felt the change

Time meant nothing and never would again
