WTG, Megan! I'll be sure to watch.

For BBs who don't want to sit through the whole video, Rafferbee appears near the 8 second mark.

You may also recognize Ogi Ogas and a few other game show veterans, including Pam Mueller.

Wow. It's starting to sound like a real all-star lineup. Will you be on as well? --Bob

No, but I was one of many who were strung along and given false hope as I progressed through the extravagant audition process. It's not clear what they were looking for, but they eventually lost interest in me and stopped calling. Several others disrupted their lives to make multiple trips to Los Angeles for brief follow up auditions and didn't make the cut, or were in the contestant pool at the studio all week during the tapings and didn't get used. The producers come from the world of reality shows, where jerking applicants around may be par for the course. The prize money was surprisingly low for a prime time network TV show, and the format was frustrating for most who got to play - it's not a level playing field for the two people who compete against each other.

But as usual, I hope it is a success, since that might open the door for more network game shows.

Yeah, I'm sorry that people spent all week there and didn't get to be used, but its a brand new show that was taping the whole season in one week and they weren't sure how many people would be needed.

The audition process was quite long and drawn out, but they made it as painless as possible for someone out of state to try out, with most being done on the phone and Skype and flying us out for the final audition on the show's dime. I'm not really in the position to go to L.A. just to try out for a game show, so I'm glad they were so willing to cast nationwide and get people from all over the country on the show.

I'll leave opinions of the gameplay to the wiser heads here for when the show airs.

As one of the people who was flown to Los Angeles for in-person auditions, I can say it was a lot of fun - and I got to meet Megan, too! I'm a full-time homemaker, so I didn't use any vacation time, and it was a nice little getaway.

I'm looking forward to watching this next month.
