She didn't even get to enjoy being the oldest person in the world for one week before she departed.

That title probably is pretty stressful. She knew she had a target on her back.

Coincidentally, Gertrude was once the youngest person in the world.

Dang! My Gertrude Weaver - Oldest Living Person fan club t-shirt hadn't even arrived yet.

That newcomer Jeralean Talley just got the title handed to her on a silver platter. Talk about luck!
