I'll put this here, since it is my thread:

TPNN (Tea Party News Network) was started a few years ago, and it is a good idea. It reported on news that the major media would ignore, or from a factual basis, rather than the leftist narrative. I subscribed to it on facebook.

In the past year or so, it's expanded it's bandwidth to include popular culture things and some silly stuff. The explanation is that 'we can't talk politics all the time'. OK, I understand. Some of the reports have become a bit nitpicky, and geared to 'click me to see what I'm talking about'. OK, if I want to get the whole story, I will. When I did, they, in the most part, weren't misleading or obviously factually wrong.

This week I saw this post from TPNN bylined by a Colleen Conley.

I have heard nothing from any other source on this. The whole article looks bogus, and anyone reading it with a factual eye could see the facebook page referenced was not his.

This is unacceptable. I have unfollowed TPNN. I will keep an open mind and see if anything develops on this, but if nothing does, or nothing comes out of TPNN to explain this, I have lost all trust in them as a news source.

I waited a day and hoped something would happen, but the story is still on their site with no explanation. Many other people have commented on this story and feel the same way I do. It's sad. That does not reflect the view and values of the vast majority of tea party people. We make our decisions on facts, not reported rumors and exaggerated, out of context stories. No, we are NOT like the other side. This is TPNN's Brian Ross moment. This is exactly what Brian Ross did to the Tea Party. Brian Ross is still reporting for ABC News.

In looking further I found that several of their senior staff resigned last month upset that the website has lost it's focus and become a revenue generation source rather than a news source. (Wow, just like the major media!).

Several highway improvements were financed this way. And now the developers of a Chinatown project want EB-5 investors so badly that they've hired not just Hillary's brother, but also Clinton in-law and former local Congresswoman Marjorie Margolies, and other big-shot Democrats.

That's a blow for Cruz, who's been calling Trump a fake conservative. Also, the governor of Iowa has spoken out against Cruz.

Cruz's opposition to ethanol subsidies is good reason to support him. The Governor of Iowa is apparently another big government republican. If making corn into ethanol is such a great idea, let it compete on the market without government subsidies.
