X Files "Event" to Return to Fox

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Wed Mar 25, 2015 8:56 am

The X Files will return to Fox as a six-episode "event," which presumably means a self-contained miniseries along the lines of HBO's True Detective. Original series stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will reprise their roles of Agents Mulder and Scully. No word on the dates yet.

A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.

Right about the time that the new X-Files mini-series was announced, the Dallas Comic Con (which we have been planning to attend) announced Gillian Anderson as a guest: http://www.fanexpodallas.com/guests/gillian-anderson/

NBC, which needs all the help it can get, since its only really successful shows are Sunday Night Football and The Voice, will be reviving Coach with Craig T. Nelson. This time out, his character will be called out of retirement to serve as an assistant for his grown son who will be the head coach of the team. No word on other casting yet.
