Q9: Carey is the only one who would really try to preserve her voice this way, I'd guess. She has the widest range, & probably the loudest voice, so that agrees with the contestant's assessment of power, but frankly they all think of themselves as powerful women, & maybe powerful singers too. Could be Minaj too. I would probably go for Carey, unless I'm disgusted enough with myself to just leave here.

Q10: I grew up in Ohio in the 50s & 60s. And I never heard of this law in my life. We definitely had religious shut-downs, called blue laws, every Sunday. So my guess was for Christmas too. But if I survived the last Q, I go home here, worn out on guessing.

When I was a kid, those who studied/liked dinosaurs all knew that "Brontosaurus" meant "thunder lizard." Now, the name "Brontosaurus" has disappeared from science books. Kids these days call them "Apatosaurus."
