I say this because, last night, a heavily promoted PPV "championship event" between Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano ended in a mere 13 or 14 seconds (I've seen it reported both ways). You can see the entire fight on one GIF here (the promo for Bud Light lasts half the fight). Rousey appeared in last year's Expendables 3 and will be in the upcoming Furious 7, so she seems to have a good chance at an acting career. I'm not sure what you'd call that fight but if I had paid good money for that I wouldn't be too happy.

It reminded me of the skit on SCTV when John Candy got knocked out with one punch and they had hours of time left to fill on the broadcast.

Re: Anyone a fan of MMA?
When Mike Tyson was in his prime some of his fights were over almost as quickly. Today it seems boxing is not as big as it was, and MMA is no doubt one of the main reasons. It stands to reason that many people who like to watch two guys punch each other will like watching them punch, kick and body slam each other even more.
In answer to your question I am not a fan. I used to like boxing but have moved on.
