So I found $14

#1 Post by christie1111 » Tue Feb 24, 2015 12:06 pm

In the ladies room at work. I told the head Admin person so she could send a note out. Just a generic 'money was found', if it is yours contact her to say how much and claim it.

A week later and no one claims the money.

So I get an email from her saying the Personnel thinks I should donate it to a local Food Bank and let me know and she will come and get it or I can give it to Kathy H who is a contact for them.

Nice of them to decide I should give it away and even to name what organization I should give it to.

I replied that I would give it to a charity of my own choosing.

Yeah, like the Number 71 Scholarship Fund for the Most Improved Players

Or perhaps some Yarn Pantry.

I guess they meant well and it came out wrong.

That happens way too often.

Actually, since SwampyTurtles is here next week, I will give it to her (along with another $20) since she feeds the homeless at Pokai Bay on Wednesdays. My Mom started it through our church in Hawai'i and SwampyTurtles has continued it. Fitting since both Mom and our Grandmother's ashes were scattered in Pokai Bay.
