Congratulations!

Reserve Best in Show was the Skye Terrier.

SteerlersFan wanted Swagger, the Old English Sheepdog, to win. I was cheering for the Springer Spaniel. Oh well.

And the winner of the most recent Westminster Dog Show has been a question on WWTBAM in recent times, no?

Recent times? Heck, it goes back to the earliest of the Regis days. It's a staple for the question writers.

That's the main reason I watched it with such interest, but the history and tradition figure in too, as well as a love of canines. As LB says, I'll never see a Casey, but I might see an Annie sometime (English Setter).

What's really fun is when one of them captures the crowd and then wins too. I still remember Affenpinscher Banana Joe from 2013. I have no idea how the final judge picks the best, but I know that SteelersFan wasn't the only one cheering for Swagger.
