You can only post on your website if you have a Wordpress acct. What's up with that?

I don't know anything about that. I have several people comment on my blog without a WP account, including Kay and Saucy...

I have been able to post comments.

However since I do not have a blog, I cannot ever enter into any contests.

The reason is that 10 years ago my blog was on wordpress and even tho I deleted all of my blogs it still attaches to my email. Got it fixed.
