Retroactive good luck to chad1m

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Tue Feb 03, 2015 11:36 am

Be sure to tune in Wheel of Fortune tonight to see our very own chad1m take on Fun and Fitness Week. Will he choose fun or fitness? --Bob

Spoiler
Chad solved the first two toss ups, the first maingame round, and the third prize puzzle round. He had a bankrupt in round four. One of his opponents won rounds two and four. The other opponent solved the third toss up. He won $19450($7550 in trip to Paris, $11900 in cash), his opponents had $9350 and $3000. From -AC--ARD -A-E--, he didn't solve Backyard Gazebo(getting Backyard right) and losing out of $32K(the minimum bonus round amount in honor of the 32nd nighttime season)

I watched it. I really enjoyed seeing a BB do well on Wheel.

So what's the next game show you're going for?
I'm just a game show nerd.

"The Chase" I hope.

Well done!

Yeah, gazebo. Not a likely thing to guess.

But you did great and certainly looked like you were enjoying it!

Congrats, Chad! Well played game!

Was a bit nonplussed you got Popeye (one of my favorite cartoons) before I did at home. :P

And BTW -- anyone notice that the four letters he chose in the Bonus Round spelled "Chad"? :P

Really good play. Getting stuff with only 2 letters on board for one word. Sheesh! Nice $$ & prize, too.

Well played.

One practical tip. Start researching how cheaply you could duplicate the trip that you won. Document your findings and hold onto the records. That number will probably be substantially smaller than what appears on your 1099 form. And (at least for federal taxes) you are entitled to use that lower number for your tax return. --Bob

^^^ What he said.

BTW, we went to Paris for a few days back in September, if you want any tips, email me. Or better yet, get Julia Collins.
