If you have nothing to do tomorrow night…

#1 Post by chad1m » Mon Feb 02, 2015 12:34 pm

…might I suggest you stay in and watch Wheel of Fortune? I will be the yellow-position contestant tomorrow night (Tuesday, February 3) as part of Fun & Fit Week. (They must have been looking for a minimum 50% qualification rate.) If you don’t care for me, you can hate-watch and yell at the TV. That’s fine too. :)

Congratulatons, Chad! Of course, I'll watch!

I couldn't possibly do any more yelling than I already do at Terry Crews, these days.

I will watch before I leave for Trivia.

I'd love to watch, but Tuesday is the one inviolable date on my calendar -- I have to leave for bridge at 5:30, and y'all come on at 6:30.

Retroactive good luck!

I don't even know when it comes on but TiVo is my friend.

That's sad.

Congrats Chad, however you did! I hope you have a fun viewing party. When did you learn it would be Fun and Fit Week? I assume at least one or two of the puzzles fit that theme, though I'm not sure how that could have affected your preparation.

CHad claims to have watched the show since he was a baby(he reminisced with Meredith about the sound effects on Wheel he remembered hearing when he was two or three) About the puzzles on the Monday 2/2 episode
Spoiler
Only the first toss-up, Healthy Breakfast, seemed to fit the Fun and Fit theme. THough the Before and After in round two, Be there or be Square Dancing, sort of fits as Square Dancing was at one time part of some Phys Ed classes.

I learned in the "hey, we have a tape date for you!" email two weeks before taping. I was a bit trepidatious about the theme since I only fit half of the bill, but I figured I wasn't going to turn down an invite from Wheel. Usually the first toss-up and one of the first two main puzzles is themed, so if you keep the ideas of fitness and physical activity in mind during those times, it can help you figure out what they're going for.
