sorry 'bout that, obviously I am my usually clueless self when it comes to that stuff..I thought it was pretty funny if I do say so myself..it was a picture of me rockin' and rollin' with one of my band incarnations..wasn't even one of my pics..an ex-bandmate had posted it.

Well, I made myself laugh, anyway...glory days indeed

Thanks for the in-good-faith JJC point!

Hey, Melly! I think you're making this too hard. It appears that you are taking web-based photos and uploading them to flickr, from which the pics don't come through as easily as they once did.

If your photo is web-based (found through a search and residing somewhere on someone's server) rather than a personal photo residing on your PC/Mac, you don't need to upload to flickr. In fact, that appears to be causing yours to fail.

If you use Google images to search, when you click on a result, you have the option to either "Visit page" or "View Image." It appears that "View Image" has the image's URL as its page URL, but I don't know if that's always true. You can always go to the image, either embedded in its page (Visit page), or as a white page with a single image (View image), right-click it and select "Properties" from the bottom of the pop-up menu. The Address (URL) listed will usually be in the format http:// BlahBlahBla.ext. Valid extensions for The Bored are maintained by the Administrators. As far as I can tell, the ones that work here are .JPG, .BMP, .PNG & .GIF. If the prefix is https, that is a secure URL and may not display here, either.

I was busy packing up the governor's mansion or I would have been here sooner!
