Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 136

No wedding news today, but yesterday was not a good one for the gs household. BD had a rotten day at work, capped off by a speeding ticket. (The cop told her that he didn't want to be there, either, but the state wanted the townies to crack down on speeders. Not sure if it was related, but he miswrote the date in two separate places, making a dismissal of the ticket a slam dunk.) I was sick and slept most of the day getting over it. GW fought and lost to a reaction that didn't work. And Mom called to tell us that my BIL's mother (my late sister's MIL) had died. Her eldest daughter is on a long-planned vacation in China and not due back for a couple of weeks, so the funeral will likely be put off until then. The family plot, where Sis is located, is near to here. Whenever the funeral is scheduled, I'll be in attendance.

Mr. gs, I hope that a lot of bad news got over with in a single day, so that all the days from here on can be much nicer.

What a day! Makes me want to go to bed and pull the covers over my own darn head and it's not even my day!

Hope tomorrow is way better.
