You're fired, Brady Hoke

#1 Post by Kazoo65 » Sat Nov 29, 2014 3:47 pm

I watched the Michigan-Ohio State game on TV. It started out good for Michigan but after a 21-21 tie going into halftime, Ohio State started pulling away. Then late in the 3rd quarter, the Ohio State quarterback was badly injured (they had to cart him off the field) when a Michigan defender basically slammed him into the turf. Owwww! Needless to say, this got the rest of the Ohio State team all fired up and they won 35-21.

Then the TV commentators started talking about Michigan coach Brady Hoke and whether or not he will be back next season. They are leaning toward him not being there. I think it will happen early next week.

Update:

Coach Hoke is meeting with the interim AD tomorrow afternoon. The topic of his job is going to be under discussion. He meets the team at 3:00 EST. I bet he's going to tell them he's leaving.

In the business world, the "interim AD" would likely be known as a "hit man."

Hoke is gone. Period. Between losing games and not having a full house for home games (translation -- the alumni scalpers lose their butts), you're gone.

Most D-1 coaches make a pile of money but job security is next to non-existant.

I just need a year of what the top guys make. Heck, maybe just half a season's worth.

Especially when the lady in your hotel room (not your wife) orders one of everything to go from room service on the University credit card. :P
