Fans of the A&E series Longmire, a mystery about a modern-day Wyoming sheriff, will be happy to know that it will be back in 2015 on Netflix with another season of 10 new episodes (same as last season). It was one of A&E's more popular series, but they decided to go instead with their more intellectual fare like Duck Dynasty. Because Netflix is a subscription service, expect the language to be somewhat rougher and possibly the content as well.
This is the second time recently that Netflix has picked up a cancelled basic cable series. They broadcast a final six-episode season of The Killing last summer. I would strongly recommend that to anyone who enjoyed the original series on AMC. The final season wrapped up all the loose ends from earlier seasons (including a brand new case) and concluded the series quite satisfactorily.

Re: Longmire to Return on Netflix
I didn't watch it, but I heard that the ratings were actually good but the problem for advertisers is that the show was mainly popular with older viewers who are less likely to be influenced by advertising. Advertisers prefer younger viewers who can be more easily persuaded that changing brands of toothpaste or whatever will help them get laid.
