We won a trip to New Zealand in 2003 as part of a Lord of the Rings promotion, which included, among other things, round trip flights from LAX to Auckland on Air New Zealand. We've also flown from LAX to London with them.

Good leg room, decent food, really nice flight crew, and great safety videos - in my limited experience, it's an excellent airline.

The safety videos are amusing but for the full experience can anything compete with the full Hello Kitty flight experience? I think not!
