DISH was having a dispute with our local CBS affiliate that lasted a few months, so when the new season started and we still weren't getting any of the shows, I called up and threatened to switch to cable. They knocked $30 a month off my bill for 12 months. Shortly thereafter the dispute was resolved. We'll see if they continue to honor their committment.
