My tiara
Please call me the Easter Beebs. I am sporting a flashy, literally, stylin' tiara that Zhodeet gifted me with back when I visited. I wanted to save it for a special occasion. Planting impatiens seemed like a special occasion.
It's very cunning. Once I figured out how to snap it together without breaking it I pushed the battery and the pretty sparkly lights came on!
Shiny things!
Hippity hoppity.

Mine sits on a little white shelf in 'the hall of peacocks'. It sits next to a large sized crystal peacock. Anyone new in the house notices it. Everything else in the hall is ..... well.... a peacock.
I love telling them that my friend Uday gave it to me as she was sure I did not have one and gosh darn it, I should!

I stunned any loitering bugs or snakes while I planted my impatiens impatiently. They were dazzled by my lightiness.peacock2121 wrote:Flashing thingies are perfect for you!Beebs52 wrote:Mine is silver with pink, purple and green flashing thingies.peacock2121 wrote:Is yours green too?
Uday has great taste.
Great for gardening as well.

This is why I worked during daylight hours. I'm wary of what awaits in the back when the outside lights are off...AnnieCamaro wrote:I'm glad they weren't hungry and didn't confuse you with an all-you-can-eat lightning-bug buffet.Beebs52 wrote:

I don't think they're evil squirrels, either.

It sounds dazzling, indeed. YOur impatient impatien planting reminded me of a trip to a greenhouse last year:
I was waiting for some assistance in a busy greenhouse, and admiring a lovely flowering hanging basket. A young man approached me and asked" Are you getting impatient?" I was a little surprised, as I dint think I was expressing any nonverbal impatience signals, and responded, 'oh, no, just admiring this basket. What it is?" He answered, with exaggerated emphasis "New Guinea Impatiens" I felt stoopid. then laughed.
I prolly should have been wearing a tiara.

You, my dear, are never completely dressed without your tiara.tlynn78 wrote:_________________I stunned any loitering bugs or snakes while I planted my impatiens impatiently. They were dazzled by my lightiness.

Not just any group of men could pull off tiaras and still look so studly.
Really.

Well...........(man)ulysses5019 wrote:That was so long ago and many brain cells......can I get some help from kt or snaxx?
Uly was wearing the special tiara reserved for the Queen. KT and Snaxx wore the ones for the Princesses. The Princess tiaras matched each other, whereas the Queen's had a different style.
Queen = Cori
Princesses = Smokey and Cindy

snaxx gets my vote for wearing his the best
I have to agree - his posture is the most regal.
