As noted in another thread, elwing and I watched our grandson again last night. It's something we'll be doing every Monday and Tuesday for the next few months while our son is taking evening classes. We're glad to do it because it gives us a chance to bond with our grandson.
Looks like I'll be in St. Louis the week of July 28th for an Army computer conference - it's tentatively scheduled for that week, but there's no agenda yet and I don't have my boss's permission to go yet (I doubt he'll deny my travel).

Both of the girls spent time with their grandparents when they were little.earendel wrote:As noted in another thread, elwing and I watched our grandson again last night. My dad liked to take Maddie to his boat. Since he worried about her swimming in the ocean, he used to turn off the pumps in his sailboat, take up the carpet and let the water come inside the main cabin and let her swim in it. He would have never done anything like that for my sister and me when we were kids.
