Can't top Vandal's cake, so I got you a present. Happy Birthday!

..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson
War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

Happy birthday, Mr. K!
When reality requires approval, control replaces truth.
To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead. -Thomas Paine
You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality. -Ayn Rand
Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities. -Voltaire

Re: Happy Birthday, mrkelley!!
Thank you all so very much.
Vandal, that is a great cake, but in my usual overanalytic fashion, I found myself wondering if the cake shop had extra "x"s they needed to get rid of. They were obviously terrified of superscripts. I think they found every linear equation in the book.
To everyone here: thank you again for all you have done for me over the years. Having a community to hang out in where one can be sort of anonymous while still being a known quantity is a precious thing. It's probably also telling that about a quarter of the people who wished me happy birthday on Facebook today became friends of mine through this community.
I've made it much further than I ever thought I would. Here's hoping I can have another 54 years.
