They announced a new host, more rule tweaks, and time slot changes in some cities. Should we continue to transcribe the shows or just point to the other site that does a paraphrasing transcript and post discussion as interesting things come up? We have lost transcribers through the years and really need a net gain of one or two volunteers to keep it going.

My response in that thread:
I wonder if the Transcript Team will continue, as we dropped to fewer than five members last year and interest in the show has diminished greatly with those changes. I was transcribing two days last year and this season I will be away during the first two weeks of programming.
Edit to add: There is another site that transcribes all the shows that they can, although they abbreviate and paraphrase the questions a lot.

I hope we continue to transcribe the show. I, for one, continue to find the full transcripts quite useful. I don't think I can commit to transcribing once a week, but I can continue to fill in from time to time. --Bob

Assuming we get a quorum, I could do one show a week starting in late September and could fill in for the occasional pre-emption or vacation. I was covering Tuesday and Wednesday and could do either day.

My DVR didn't record the show today.
I used the site Snaxx linked to transcribe the first episode.
I didn't see the second episode posted there.

Late last week I set my DVR to record any "new" shows. I see there is a double-run to avoid re-runs of Cedric or Meredith. This means when I get home the weekend of the 20-21st there could be twenty recordings on my DVR. It is likely then I'll have my first look at Terry Crews WWTBAM since I'm not stopping everything to find WWTBAM on the road. Then again, the DVR is unpredictable about what it decides as "new." It counted the last two Cedric re-runs including a ~1:00 AM slot as "new" and recorded them.

I returned home to find 22 shows recorded and yesterday's shows then recorded to make it 24. I hope the double runs are not too much longer. Not sure when I'll get to them I'll start with yesterday and work my way back. Did anyone pick up Wednesday?

Since only a limited set of our dwindling Bored gets to see two shows a day, I think it would be reasonable to wait until the double run episodes show up as first run episodes, later in the season.

Last year, that happened around New Year's, and some episodes were never transcribed.
