I didn't know this either. According to Dictionary.com, rigamarole is an alternate spelling of rigmarole. The word comes from ragman roll, a document in which the Scottish nobles acknowledged their allegiance to Edward I of England, 1291–92 and 1296. In Old English, it's rageman rolle, which could explain our alternate spelling. I'm always learning things here.

I hope Tuck likes the new diet and doesn't need surgery.

Tell the bored spelling police robot "I do what I want." That's my new mantra. Best wishes to Tuck.
