I need your help (Trivia Finals)
Let me preface this by saying, if you are friends with me on FB, you already know I gave up seeing Buble in OKC to compete at the trivia league's semi-finals. (Big stuff) Our team won semis and qualified for Finals.
This is where you come in.
I just found out last night that 3, possibly 4, of my team members have backed out of going out of a 5 max member Finals team. Yes that basically leaves me. Now I would love to think I could completely hold my own at Finals, but I've been there once, and I know this game isn't designed for just one person to compete.
I need 3 of you, more than likely 4, to help me make a complete team.
Specifics: MID-SOUTH FINALS: SATURDAY, AUGUST 23rd; SAMS TOWN HOTEL & GAMBLING HALL (TUNICA) 4:00PM
Yep, that's Tunica, MS.
Yep, that's in 10 days.
The prize pool consists of $25,000+ cash and prizes. I think the top 5-10 teams won $, and there were drawings throughout the game for prizes like gift cards, Kindles, flat-screen TVs, etc.

Ack. If I wasn't, y'know, up here in the middle of nowhere and a thousand or so miles away, I would jump at this. Been there and done that myself, and you are right...this is not a spot to play solo. I'd just show up and hope there's an empty char. I did that with Geeks Who Drink's championship in Austin as well as the TeamTrivia regional here in Raleigh where I teamed-up with Dino Alexander and his brother and sister. Oh Amy, what a pickle! I wish I could attend.. I can put out feelers to my Atlanta-area peeps if you'd like; not sure many of them are trivia whizzes, but you never know..

Unfortunately, Tunica is a bit out of the way from Cincinnati for just a weekend trip.

Just wanted to thank everyone for reading and maybe even contemplating the trip to Tunica.
I actually have a bored member on board. So stinkin' excited!!!
We still can use three people in case any of you know anyone close or may just up and decide to come meet us Saturday.
Side note: It's so crazy as the Texas Finals are the same day, yet where I play is considered in the Mid-South League.
