Road trip for Second-Born Son

(Note that I did not refer to him as #2 Son; both boys share that title in my book.)

Anyhow, he is riding down to the Magic Kingdom as we speak; the local HS band gets to march down there over spring break. He was cranked up to the point where he was even looking forward to the 25-hour bus ride (each way).

If nothing else, the music department at MHS sure knows how to pick the road trips...long rides but well worthwhile...

I'm sure he'll have a great time, 25 hour bus ride or not. Oh to be young again. Give us an update when he gets back.

I'm guessing they were called that when they were in diapers.

I am sure he will...he has been counting the days for months now.

And, FTR, they are both actually #1 sons to me; the youngest has earned the title of Favorite Daughter...to which she always replies "and your least-favorite, too".

No such luck. Gotta stay home and take care of things. I am not worried though, as 1) he is in good hands (we know the chaperones well, their daughter is first-born's GF) and 2) he is a good kid in his own right, and smart enough not to get into trouble.

Sure would have been nice to watch, though, I will grant you that...
