Probably a good thing you did have the old login since it's near impossible for newbies to sign up for this Bored anymore without smacking an administrator upside the head....

So now the WWTBAM Bored is officially structured as a tontine? What does the last person standing win?

Hi guys!

So I'm brand new in registering to the board (sorry lb for harassing you until I got activated) but I've been lurking for awhile.

I auditioned Monday in Raleigh and after the video interview she said I would hear something by email in 2 weeks. Well yesterday, only 2 days after the audition, I get the magical call that I'll be taping on the 25th and 26th of August! I'm so excited. I definitely thought I had probably bombed the video interview because I didn't feel like I was as crazy as they coached me to be but this really is a dream come true I just hope I don't blow it.

The audition tips on this board really helped a lot. I narrowed down a story to sell myself and I think that got me through. I'm pumped!

Thanks--I've been Youtubing Millionaire fails so hopefully I won't do that. I almost didn't get the video interview. I was in the middle of talking and then the AP said "Okay you've sold me. You had what we call deadface and that's what concerned me but I think you're ready now."

My gf can't get enough of the deadface thing. That's her new nickname for me.

Congrats to deadface, I mean Feederoffish.

just checked my spam filter, nothing so the fantasy lives on.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

congrats, feederoffish.

Deadface? I guess I must have that in spades. Or something. No; oddly enough, every photo I've ever seen of me, I have an expression. Sometimes its an expression of horror, but its not dead.

So my rejectification can't be because of that.

Can we skip the login and just smack the administrator upside the head?
