RIP Johnny Winter

Texas blues icon Johnny Winter has passed away on July 16, 2014 in his hotel room in Zurich, Switzerland.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Quite a long career. Song that most often comes to mind for me with him is "Still Alive and Well". Unfortunately that title no longer holds true. Hopefully his brother Edgar is doing ok.

Sorry to hear this. I had read some recent articles about Johnny Winter, who seemed to be having a resurgence of his career.
