Free Slurpee Day
Happy 7-11. I miss PSM's annual accounts of her free Slurpee expeditions with her family. I hope they have continued the tradition. I think I'll cut my grass first, then go enjoy a free Slurpee. You should too!

Looks like they have limited the free Slurpees to an 8 hour window, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. I think that's new.
But if you download their app, you can get more free junk food each day for the next week.

That brings up something I always wondered.... why are dates often recorded as ddmmyy outside of the US? That makes absolutely no sense to me. Do non-Americans actually say "Today is the 11th of July" in regular conversation and not "Today is July 11th?"
