Maybe.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

My web host did some updates tonight, one of which broke the Bored a little bit.

I had gotten previous warning about it, but didn't think the updates they were doing would break anything. Shows what I know.

I've reverted everything back (they give you that option, fortunately) but I'll have to do some work behind the scenes to fix it anyway, since the update in question becomes mandatory and permanent sometime in November. That will probably involve taking the Bored down completely for a few hours, so I'll be sure to warn everyone when I decide to do that...probably late at night on a weekend or something.

Something weird was going on for previews, but I have consistently been able to get in. --Bob

I got the following PM notification, but when I came to look, it wasn't in my Inbox. I can't imagine what Weyoun would PM me about, so I assumed he had pulled a Melly!!!

Yes, that was the subject header that melly managed to send to everyone except the three Administrators...

My MM accounts, which never get PM's otherwise, have the infamous PM as well as the six replies that also got forwarded to everyone still saved, one of which was by Weyoun...
