top o' the mornin'® 6/20/2014

I've been spending the morning packing up my belongings in preparation for the big office renovation. Our branch is moving down the hall to some empty cubicles in another division's office (Civil Program Management) and we'll be scattered among them. Other branches are moving elsewhere in the building. Then we get to move back again once the renovation is completed.

Yesterday, as I mentioned, was Corps Day and I was noted as having completed 30 years of service. I am still freaked out a little by realizing that I've been working here longer than some of the other people in the office have been alive.

This afternoon I meet with the technician who will outfit me with my breathing machine. I have a feeling it will take some getting used to.

Yes, the CPAP machine will take a huge amount of getting used to. Your wife will have problems too. I have two friends who wound up sleeping alone due to their use of one.

Yeah, it's milestones like your 30 years that make us feel old. I had the 45th anniversary of going to work for IBM two weeks ago. :o
