Three. Book. Deal!!

#1 Post by Vandal » Tue May 27, 2014 12:40 pm

The publisher at Writers AMUse ME Publishing is also interested in the two Dizzy Miss Lizzie follow-ons, Running On Empty and Cat Scratch Fever. Publisher loves the premise for both, so now all I have to do is clean them up (convert present tense into past tense - hey, it was a phase) and update them. Both were written about five years ago, so I need to make sure they are 2014-appropriate.

Details to follow as I get them.

Woohoo!!!

I can't wait until the day one of your books ends up on the Mecca shelf, so I can point to it and tell my co-workers, "Hey! I know that guy! He writes terrible promos, but he's a damn good author!"

Congratulations! If you need any more book ideas, just adapt one of Frank Tangredi's plays. I'm pretty sure he won't mind.

Thanks, all!

I should have a new cover for Lizzie soon.

Release date is November 22 (exactly one year after Center Point).

There will be no book four because we want to keep it a middle grade series (up to age 14). I still have three other completed middle grade manuscripts (and one in the works), so I should be good to go if I can find a home for them.

Note to LB: the promos are crappy, not terrible! (so says Officer Friday).

WAMM has agreed to publish Running On Empty.

The contract arrived today.

That's two down and one more to go:
