#1 Post by a1mamacat » Tue Jun 10, 2014 6:15 pm

Never happened in the 14 years I've been posting before.

My host didn't like the Bored today either.

I had to find it another way and re-bookmark it.

Weird because Bob Shore ( I always have a hard time translating the Bored Handles) also had a problem.

I will let him know on the Ark.

My server is RoadRunner, if that helps track down the issue.

That's weird. Now I'm in. Someone sent me a PM, and following the link to the PM got me to the Bored successfully. --Bob

My browser bookmark at work had been "http://www.wwtbambored.com", and that was working until yesterday.
Yesterday it gave me the "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage".

Now I have updated the address to "http://wwtbambored.com" and it is working fine.

That seems to be the ticket. Leave "www" out. G-d help me why. For IE & Mozilla Firefox, anway. Chrome still accepts "www". And web locations other than this board still require their "www"s. I think, I gotta test this some more.

That solved it for me as well. Thanks! --Bob

When it disappears from my "recents" I just google WWTBAM Bored, and I get right here, usually already logged in and everything.

wwtbambored.com works for me. My usual mess which autocompletes --

www.wwtbambored.com/viewforum.php?f=1

doesn't work.

Y'know, I completely forgot about googling in, which is additional evidence of my decreased smarts recently. I am not in good shape. I used to get to previous incarnations of the board strictly by google, but it hasn't been my habit with this version. Which is no excuse.

www.wwtbambored.com isn't working for me either, on whatever browser an hp Touchpad has.

wwtbambored.com works fine. Saves me logged in and everything.
